Yes you can, not sure who but my bro in law got a glass thrown at him and lost his eyesight in one eye. He got a hefty payout, not that you'd want to lose your eye but at least its something.

Criminal injuries mate. Think its explained in that link.

One of the lasses I work with got bottled, shes got 4k paid out to her by them

When I was 16 I got randomly twatted in the face by some 25yr old guy He had to pa me £100 compo A fiver a week

Crininal Injuries compensation board, make sure it is all reported to police etc..It needs to be.

I went through this for 3 years and got NOTHING in the end when a guy kicked me in the face and broke my jaw..

i got smashed round the head with a lump of concrete nearly 2 years ago. I got £500 compensation.

My brother got kicked in the face and head stamped on, it taken about two years but in the end he got £750

also an 'asian' shall i say started on my mate in town and hit him in the face with a glass bottle, smashed a few of his teeth, the asian got arrested and my mate is pressing charges

i hope the runt goes down!

I took the people to court that damaged my old car and assaulted me.

Cant remember how much I was awarded in compensation, could of been £600.

Anyway 4 years later they are still paying it off. Get a fiver from them once in a blue moon

Go the CAB and ask for a criminal injuries compensation form...

As long as its reported to the police...you have pictures of the injuries etc...and you have been the hospital etc...fill the form in...send it off...

Better doing this than through a solicitor as it will cost you a fair bit in legal costs...

Have you pressed charges?
