Wouldn't a cossie have reliability issues over the pulsar?

I had a 2wd saff a few years back awsome fun! used to have a right laff in the wet... the only problem i had with mine was one of the back calipers stuck on so all in all it was cheap motoring compared to the scoobs and mr2 turbo i used to have... Sold it for 400 quid more than i paid which was a bonus

in theory i suppose, but if you were looking at a nice cossie it's more likely to be owned by an enthusiast where as the pulsar more commonly is owned by younger people who have ragged the tits off em!!
But the pulsar's cost an arm and a leg to repair.

Cossie. Pulsar is probably the better car, but the Sierra is my favourite of the two.

i remember a 270bhp skyline vs a std cossie and the cossie won. i don't think it's all about speed with these 2, it's more to do with the heritage and the fact you can say when your older i had a cossie!!!

Cossie. Never had an experience in any but I'd have it just so I can wake up every morning knowing I have Fords finest on my drive.

yeah i have always wanted one , and there is a few good places to take them local ish if i want to tune or just for serviceing etc , they know there stuff. i know the Pulsar is a god dam ugly car , but they are very quick for what they are , 4 wheel drive 2l turbo in a fairly light shell .

That's all very well, but a "nice" saph cossie can cost a pretty penny.

Cosworth for me
We had alook at a GTI-R once was quick and was tidy but its not got the cossie look
Dont take any notice to what people have to say about a GTI-R and there gearboxs ect if the cars looked after like any other car then you wont have any problems.

you'd get a decent one for 5k these days, probably the same as a decent pulsar.
I can't see either of them being more, or less reliable than the other, they're both good if they're looked after well enough.
