Let my mate drive my motor back up to my house on Sunday cos i had been drinking.
Got a phone call from him... i was still in bed nursing a hangover.... sayin there there had been a slight accident!!

he said he hit a puddle, lost control, went through the fence and into the field.

Totally gutted..... see below.

oh dear.

Argh! I'm in the same situation! I let my mate drive my car a few weeks back and he had an accident! Wasn't technically his fault but the whole side of my car is fooked!

Tell him he can get good deals on a loan this time of year.... as if you claim on your insurance you'll be paying through the nose in premiums for the next few years...

He was well gutted, totally white and shaking. Not sure if that was the crash or what i was goin to do to him when i got there!

He is paying for everything, and could have been fairer with me, going to give me money to get another motor.
Feel sorry for him like, but then again, he crashed my motor. He's a top mate and wont let me down. I would do the same for him if it was the other way round.

Full front end & 1/4 panel will cost enough to have fixed on a car of that year without taking into account the bits that aint visable!! Would you really want it fixed if its been put through a fence
