Looking to get a hamster or a rat or some sort to keep me happy..
Not sure what to get though. Had 3 rats at one point and a few hamsters like both but don’t think I will chance putting a hamster in beside a rat
Also names that I could call them as well would be good
have just ordered a brand new "Rotastack Creepy Castle" cage and also a critter camp out set comes with tree, tent and fire
How sad
Does anyone else at the age of 18 going on 19 have any stupid pets

I'm not allowed a pet
I've only ever had one pet - a hamster.
I was about 6 at the time iirc. It lost a foot in its cage cos the cotton wool stuff it slept on got wound round its leg and I never noticed and it chopped off its foot
My mum and dad went mental, cos I promised if they got me one I'd look after it. I was never allowed another pet

Put mud in, I love seeing the homes they make out of the mud.

I've got 2 rats -- so much more intelligent than hamsters...
I've got females which are quite small ( ), but at least they're a bit more active than the males.

What about a Chinchilla?
I really wanted to get one of them but wasn't confident that I would be able to look after it well enough

i think you have to be careful with chinchillas as they can loose their fur if they become dis-stressed

I also have a rat and yes, they are FAR more intelligent than hamsters/. They don't walk off of beds to their death and they need someone to keep them company as they are a loving little thing. Should get a rat mate

I'm not keen on rats, even though the domestic kind are very clean... They always remind me of the vermon variety...

The people who tell me they don't like them say its because of the tail And yes, they are very clean wee rodents. Sometimes a bit too clever Mine keeps going into my Cadbury's Buttons pack and taking them
