look for the cause not the effect

lambda helped it

then obviosly has coked up some, so look to what else controls fueling etc

cts,? injectors, check wiring of the loom and connectors for quality of connection

fuel relay ? fuel pump?

is spark good and cnstant, whta condition is the coil in?

loads of stuff, just elimiate everything and eventually you will have it sorted.

compression test? are the valves and guides sealing properly?

la,bda sorted it great but its happened again so led me to think its a ecu wiring fault

ive changed cts adam and afm and icv etc and lambda which stopped it then its back now

right so list what you have changed for known good items.

then whats left can cause it

start with the cheapest item, like seviceable like muppet said sparks, leads, daizzy cap and rotor.

or save up some cash, find a auto electritian/diagnostic guy local who specialises in vaux and give it to him.
itll cost but he will find it

i dont know of anyone round here i asked at garages they didnt know anyone thats willing to do it and have a good look over it

a mechanic would probably easily get it running nice but the garages are refusing to touch it saying they wont be able to sort it but if i want oild changes doing etc then its fine

Where are you from? I would contact Lee Mitchell and ask him to sort it out as he does spend quite a bit of time sorting out peoples bodges.

Doesnt sound like such a serious problem to break the car over. what have you tired so far?
