hey..

just seeing if anyone here has had anything chromed? mainly engine bay parts?

just wondering really as i'm passing time at work

I know Chumley warner had his drums and calipers chromed. Also Daimo has a fair bit of shiny stuff under his bonnet.

i thought chroming peels too easy for high temperature parts........
why not try polishing / nickel plating

i know its not a car part but i had the expansion chamber chromed on my moped, that got very hot never peeled but on the first bent it turned a purpley goldy colour from the heat
