Whats peoples opinions on these, i'd ideally go for the 1.8T but insurance is a lot cheaper on the 2.0, do they respond well to engine mods/ remaps well?

Get a GT TDI
Good points
52mpg compared to 34mpg
8.3 0-60 same as 1.8T
insurance group 13 1 group lower
respond better to engine mods
bad points
bit more expensive than 1.8T
