[quote="Al Rush"]This isn't all about Fords, but it interested me, so I thought you might like a look. Ok, there now follow some pics of crashed cars, which may upset some people. If so, I apologise in advance. The thread will take aeons to load up too, so go and put the kettle on now. Anyway, today, I went to the Universal Salvage auction house in Beds for a preview of what they had coming up for sale. I was lucky enough to travel by Bentley Type R. WHAT a car, but thats another story..

The place is amazing, its where we bought our trackie Rolls a few months back, and they have a fascinating and diverse selection of vehicles for sale. Lots of them tell a tragic tale, but as was said to me earlier, they’re just lumps of metal when all’s said and done. You can spend hours wandering around, playing fantasy car buying games. I’d go for a Porsche 968 I think, that’d do me. Or perhaps that Fireblade Fury. Maybe even that S Class Merc (that’ll make someone a cracking buy and no mistake). More than likely though, a vandalised Bentley for a few grand, and then lpg it. You may be interested in the Fords, scattered throughout.

To my way of thinking, buy elsewhere and you can pay cheap money for a car, that’ll have a mark up on it, and be possibly crap. Here, you’re paying not a lot of money for a car, which mainly is only off the road because it has had a prang. Choose wisely and you’ll never go wrong. If you want to go, get in touch and we’ll meet up for a brew. The auction is on Sept 16th for most of these, see the link at the bottom for more info, or the ad in the next issue of PPC.

Here are a selection of the cars, there are literally farsands there, so apologies if even my small selection takes so long to load up, there are lots of fots. Keep an eye out for the new Astons further down, and the promo Jags which were as new, but destined for the crusher. They are all jumbled up too, and there are too many for captions. I should point out that some of the cars with people around them are NOT destined for the auction, they were far too good for that. 'Enjoy' is probably the wrong word, but I hope you appreciate the cars in the fots, every one tells its own story I guess.

ALERT ALERT!!! .........

The flag lasted longer than the car..

Rolls Royce thing that was on its way to a wedding by the look of it makes me sad. Astra is . And the beemer at the end .
