In the new year I definatly want a xe powered vaux. I have already got a engine conversion partly arranged for my corsa but have seen a astra gte for sale and fancy that for £2600. Its the one in south wales in this months total vaux.

ive allways liked gte's but cant decide whether to do the corsa conversion or sell the corsa and buy the gte and tune the engine a bit more.

if its a clean GTE... then its a fucking rare one Go for it.

well frow what he says it was re sprayed recently, only done 88k supposedly. i will have a look in the new year when he's ready to sell. its a 16v, chipped & power cap. also got koni adjustables i think and on speedlines

id go for the gte if its clean, but the chances are it isnt

If you do get it sell the speedlines and get original GTE wheels on it And take it to a specialst for a remap. Superchips aren't really that good for cars on some occasions

yeh id prob sell the speedlines and put a nice set of 17s on.
