......hi im buying another private reg off ebay this time
the reg is on retention but not in my name
the seller is going to send the paperwork after i pay, then i need to pay £25 to have my name added to the certificate and the address changing, then i can put it on my car
questions:
can u add a name (nominee) for just £25?
can you change address at the same time?
any other fees?

i don't think you can add a name, its more swap it to another person. Had this when my dad bought me a plate but had to change it over to me so i could put it on my car, once we done this he was no longer eligible to place it on any of his cars. i
m 99% sure you do the address at the same time.
not sure on fee's though, hope that helps

if it belongs to the other person you need to change the rite of ownership of the plate into your name and then making you the nominee. if it is not going on a vehicle that you have registered in your name then you need to add that person as a nominee and address are done at the same time but as for fee`s im not 100% but i think its around £20 - £25
