i did a ferrari experience last year, cost my parents £200. i had a passenger lap in a mondeo, a passenger lap in a s2000, 3 laps in a classic ferrari, 3 laps in a 360 ragtop, 5 mins offroad in a landy, and 5 mins in a golf with a tyre and football on the bonnet ( some sort of autotest thing).

i thought this was a complete rip off. there was over 30 people there, meaning you spent 99 % of the time waiting around. they said that none of the cars were limited, and that as performance cars they were designed to be driven, yet when i lit the rear tyres up on the ferrari i got a bollocking, and when driving was constantly moaned at for trying to redline, kept being told to change up at 3k revs.

be careful with these as they make you sign a damage disclaimer but dont tell you what its for. one lad spun a 911 out on a corner, collected a road cone with the back bumper, and was looking at a bill of over a grand for damage. apparently the excess on these things is 2k or something.

sorry for the essay, but be careful with these as they are often a con, and its always worth contacting circuits first, as they are cheaper than booking through one of the 'driving experience gift' sites.

I remember my aunt & uncle bought me a extreme canoe experience thing for my 21st. They made a big deal out of it like it was an ace gift. I was just left feeilng gutted because now I "had" to do thispile of dog shit.

Why would I 'want' to be freezing my ass off paddling for my life? Sounds shit to me. Anyway, I let a year pass and to my dismay it expired
