happily give up everything you currently have in your life and at the drop of a hat walk away from it. If you had the oppertunity to rewind your life back to a way it has been in the past....would you?

After spending the last hour listening to music while browsing the net i've been thinking about the past 7 years since i've left school and everything i've done since (i'm a musical person and listening to certain tracks takes me right back to a particular moment in my life...most of which take me back to the summer of 2001)

Since leaving school i've started to work in IT Started out as a trainee technician in a school on £50 a week and am now the IT/Network manager for one of the biggest schools in the City. I also teach adults 3 nights a week (Photography and Cisco) I own my own car and flat and consider my self to be doing well in life so far (i'm 23)

But given the oppertunity i'd leave it all if i could return to the way my life was in 2001 when i had the best mates ever. We used to be out every night having a laugh and not worrying about anything. These mates were more like brothers to me. They'd do anything for you and were always watching your back.

But them sadly for one reason or another you slowly loose contact with those friends and everything changes. I can't remember the last time i went out and had a good night.

Seems like now i've fallen into that trap of work work work. Now dont get me wrong..its great that i'm earing money and progressing but surley theres more to life then this....

Wow essay...

there is, but your mates couldnt house you and buy you all the decent stuff you can now.

I guess its just a case of finding a happy medium between earning and moving on up in your job but still being able to go out and have a good time.

I often wish I could go back to certain times with certain friends. I certainly miss my days of me, Corsadave and Adi (TightsOnLights). It's sad when things move on and you lose touch.

Erm up to you really your the only one that can decide to make a change but if your going to do so make it for the better not because you enjoyed dossing around before you got responsible, look up your old friends from that part of your life, i'll bet they have moved on & settled down too!!
