.......the following work done, by a professional company, at your home or work at a time to suit you.
I am talking what would you think professionals with busy lifestyles, possible company car (e.g merc/audi/bmw/jag) would pay, not 18 year olds with a passion for cars who would rather do it themselves:
Estimated time 3 hours by the way using Autoglym products:
Exterior:
steam clean engine and engine bay
door shuts, wheel arches, clean wheels thoroughly of brake dust and dirt.
shampoo and leather dry car exterior
de-bug & remove tar from paint work
exterior plastic trim and tyres dressed
engine bay and wheel arches dressed
paint restoration - step1 the removal of light scratches & deep colour
step 2 brilliant gloss mirror finish
step 3 polish protectant. maximizes depth and gloss
Interior:
carpets and seats thoroughly vacuumed and cleaned.
wet vac shampoo carpets and seats as required.
leather seats cleaned and conditioned
clean roof lining as required
interior plastics, dashboards, door panels dusted and cleaned of dirt and marks
wet vac mats if they are fabric, pressure wash if they are rubber.
windows and mirrors polished inside and out
spare wheel bay and spare wheel cleaned and dressed.
door shuts cloth buffed
I am looking into setting up a little side line over summer, just trying to get rough ideas on prices as I know what most places are charging

ps - if you have used or know people who use professional companies please let me know what they charge. This would be the top level valet with 3 others prices to suit. Can also add specialised options such as soft top treatment for say £10 per option. Will also offer monthly discounts and possible loyalty scheme.
Estimated £15k set up fees (van, equipment, insurance, advertising etc) and trying to work out pay back and profit and loss

cheers lads,
as it will be a side line for now I am getting some adverts made up for work. Where I work there are about 400 people on a chemical site in the middle of knowhere with no access to general public. If i can get some business through work (ideal opportunity when there are hundreds of cars parked up all day, mainly mercs/bmws etc) then its a good start. going to do weekend and evening work when spring comes around and take it from there

i have a similar idea that i could pull off if i get enough interest.
theres a guy here who started off the wheelie bin cleaning market a few years back, now a millionare
if i dont start my own business now i never will and i will be stuck working for someone else forever. i enjoy my job but being my own boss has been my dream all my life.
there isnt any good valeters in my area, i have also looked at several franchise options including Subway but cars are a passion of mine so it would help!

If it included having the seats properly cleaned along with the carpets I would pay about £80-£100 to have it done every year or 6 months as my new car has orange seats which will probably get grubby quite easily.

smart repairs do all types of things, like allys refubishment, aibrusing scrathes, painting small items like mirror caps and bumper trims etc, dent removal
theres a few down here, but there be no use to you as diffrent part of the uk, people like chips away etc
they charge loads, but dealers will pay, espically when a car is due to go out
they have charged us £40 to spray a mirror cap, and £100 to paint stuff in a hurry

for all this work, we would charge well over the 100 mark and dependant on the condition of the car would be very good if it only took you 3 hours! and especally doing head lining that can be a pig of a job to do!!
but though seems you have a good idea of what your doing! especally like cleaning out the spare wheel well and dressing the spare,
as for using auto glym products aswell its all we use and they arnt the cheapest! but are very easy to work with and give great finishes! and most people have heard of Autogylm so if they ask what products you use they will know its of good quality!
good luick if you do it
