Oposite way round dash is worse in a106gti trust me

They are not as badly built as people make out just cheaply built.

With higher miles they dont wear so well so listen for trim rattle and leaks which can cause leccy problems. Also gearboxes are the weakest links so abused examples can be costly.

Buy the Saxo if you not worried about image and you want performance?pound. If you have money to throw away buy the Pug altho they do have the stronger residuals

Great cars but you'll find the pedals too close if you have feet any bigger than size 6

Just remember this is a Corsa site so people will slate them but they are naive and cant see past the fact both these cars have cult status that any Corsa can dream of.

106 you get half leather but not in all of them. saxo dash is better imo. 106 over the mk2 vts though unless you were after a mk1 vts then that. insurance group is exactly the same for both cars. pedals are better in a 106 not as close together.get a white 106 gti

Yeah im expecting people to slate them

But i know a few people on here do rate them, i want a car that goes round bends unlike the punto and a car that is still very nippy and both these cars are excellent at that, im not to bothered about image at the end of the day when i owned a corsa i still looked at some nice examples thinking i wouldnt mind one , one day.

My brothers is only a VTR but fuck mine its fun to drive and people forget this in the quest for BHP. Its comfy, smooth, quiet and my god does it stick to the road.

At one point I was driving this more than my Valver and jump at the keys when ever it was offered to me.

Cant beat a french hot hatch for fun just a shame they are not built as well as its other European counterparts

My bro bought his VTR nearly two years ago and all he has ever done to it is an oil change and a set of front brakes. Cant beat that for cheap motoring

Just been bit though as it needs a full on service soon

Just make sure you buy the lowest millage example you can find and it'll save you so much money in the long run.
