depends how much you want to pay?

you could get some 2ltr brakes for £40ish (2nd hand)

my 208mm v6's were £350ish but was a few years back

or some 4pots at about £700ish

lol its a 1.2 so not thinkin v6 or 4pots as that would be utterly pointless. just want some slightly better brakes that will stop the car a bit quicker.

yeah, the 2 litre ones, v6 ones, or 308mm ones will all bolt straight on.

wheels limit you though, v6 ones might be tight depending on the wheels you have, so 2 litres are a safe bet

V6 are 215 for everything, but you'll want 30 for braided hoses

16v ones will be about 100-120 from a motor factors.

possibly, they're not AS essential, but it will be better if you do get them.

would be fine without though, definite improvement over the standard ones

2.0 16v brakes will clear 14s but dependant on what wheels, astra gtes came with 14s but some of the wheels that are made by diferent companys dont fit, ive had corsa gsi and sri rims on mine and never had a problem clearing them but things like nova sri rims and crosswires ont clear them luck of the draw me thinks

buy a troley jack from halfords there not dear, use some thin longnose plyers to remove the caps but wd40 the screws first and as for a strap find the lifting eyes and use an old seatbelt there more then strong enough to do the job that howe i get my engines in
