ishhhhhh, i bought it off my mate, but i was there when he bought it, around June time i think.

BUT my mate bought one aswel, from GAME, and apparantly they exchange theirs no questions asked?

He said i can borrow his recipt............

Going to get it now, anyone know PC Worlds return policy WITH a recipt?!

Its under 1 year warranty so surely they have to replace it?

i reckon they'll tell you to send it back to MS. By law they should swap it for you.

My mate at work had to phone MS, then they emailed him a UPS Shipping Label. He had to wrap the Xbox up securely, then wait for them to pick it up. They reckon it's a hardware failure on his, he had the ring of death. But they claim its a 10 day turn around..... It's been about 7 I think.

sure I read somewhere the 360 only had like a 3 month warranty... or was that just the US??

dave just go in and play up til they give you a new one.

the product they sold you is not fit for purpose. simple as

1 year warranty. Shop should swap it and they should deal with it

thye have to swap it by law they have to replace something that fall faulty through fault of manufacture, liable up to 5 years for such a scenario, warranty or no warranty

I got the ring of death last night

PC World swapped it no problems this morning, got to keep my HD drive and gained another headset out of it

I have a feeling mine is on the way out. Never frozen on me but it sometimes stuttuers whilst playing GOW.

mine crashed once when I first used it whilst playing PGR3. Has never happened again though.

im thinking this actually... will check out the situation over the weekend. if its software problems then its no good just getting a new xbox will need a new HD the lot

more often that not the problems are hardware related mate. You will get to keep your hard disk and just send the 360 and power block back.
