Currently driving a Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8T 20v remapped to 200bhp/210lb/ft and its nippy at 14.6 @ 100mph.

Looking to spend around 10k on something a bit different, current thinking of...

M3 (E36)
Lotus Elise
S4 (2.7 TT)
S2000

(Not interested in Scoobys, Evo's, Skylines)

Quite a wide variety, from 2 seater to a 4 door 2.8 twin turbo

Looking for other ideas. Open to suggestions.

I would love an S4 in that blue colour they do with the black & blue interior....dribble - all seem to have spaceship miles on them though!!

Also fancy a S2k but 2 seats & no boot would get on my tits!!

Wouldnt think of an elise - it would be even worse!!

M3's are good cars, my mate just sold his.

I went for a test drive on an S4 today, and being honest it felt slower than my Cupra. We did only take it to around 90 however. It probably would pull all the way to the limiter in 6th, whereas my car dies off around 135.

I just found it a bit too big and heavy. I'm sure once remapped to 300bhp+ it would be a different drive.

M3 was next on the test drive list. Just need to find a decent one in the local area.

Theres a couple of S2k's and a newish Elise at one of the local dealers, was going to try and blag back to back test drives for comparison.

too bumpy the clutches are heavy and they don't feel fast at all.
Driven loads of them at work and they don't impress me at all

M5's and S4's are appealing for the sheer speed. But the appeal of a smaller better handling car is higher on my list.

I just dont see myself driving an M5 or S4 at 23, lol.

Just think they are too grown up and big? I would have the S4 but then I'm older with family etc..

I really want a drive in a RS to see what it's like...BUT i love the looks of them..Hope the drive doesn't dissapoint.

I like the look of the RS aswell but then at the end of the day id rather be driving around in a beemer or Audi than a Focus there just a more complete different class!!
