When I was in Halfords today I noticed that the Ripspeed DV710 DVD CD Tuner is now £299.99
Anybody got one? What are they like?

I was having a fiddle with one and it didnt seem too bad to be fair. except it dosnt look to good and says ripspeed on it

Yeh, i was also playing with it in halfords.
Tbh if i get one for £100 it wouldnt be a bad purchase.
Would prefer a pioneer one, with a touch screen, and sat nav though

the ones on ebay are AN AUCTION just becuase they are at 100 now does not mean they will sell for 100, when will people learn
they are last years alpine ones, and yes they are well worth the money. remove the ripspeed badge if it botheres u

Wouldnt mind one of them to be honest who gives a fuck if it says ripspeed on it,i know ripspeed is usually assorted with stick on chav crap,but ive senn this headunit it my mates car its a good head unit for what it is i much prefer the alpine to though

I'd guess they're more likely to be old Pioneer units, rather than Alpine...
None of the Alpine range, past or present, look anything like them

Only problem with htem is they are not face off units, which is why we don't sell too many of them at work.
Other than that, a very good unit!
