Been expecting this for a while TBH.
Thoughts on the Home Counties going solo?

Could be economic disaster as far as export is concerned, and could increase the cost of living.

But 81% if ENGLISH want this to happen.

I could write a huge essay but thought it would interesting to see what people think about this.

Could Scotland survive in Europe with out the support of the UK? I dont pretend to know the ins and outs but it just seems an almighty risk for the Scots

I wish this would happen, more is spent per head on people in Scotland than on those in England by the Govt, so would free up plenty of cash.

In the fact the English Govt would no longer be pouring money into Scotland, where as I said we spend more per person than in England. The Scotish Govt would have to come up with their own money.

They would probably decide we need to build a new parliament building and pour another £400m + down the drain.

I decided to read all of the Fraser Enquiry last week and it made me angry like you wouldnt believe.

Yeah, its funny how Scottish MEPs can vote in the English parliment that will effect laws and decisions in England which are nothing to do with them. But our MP's cant vote in theirs.

What a stupid view and I also doubt it will happen.

How much more money would you have per head in England Cosmo?

And if wales are involved too why is nobody mentioning them.

The thing that makes me laugh most about this though is the fact nobody wants anything to do with England, then there are a few crackpots in Northern Ireland that are willing to fight to stay part of it
