does ne1 know if et 42 17" alloys with et45 tyres will fit! corsa b thanx.

lol, the 45 bit is the profile mate !!! doesnt matter what the et is for tyres et is the width of the middle bit where the bolts go through. 40 profile tyre is thinner than 45 profile tyre.

get these tyres with the alloys -
205/40R17

205 is the width of the tyre, you will need 205 because any higher and you might get major arch rubbing.

They will fit but you will need to get some arch work done, And even then they will probably still rub if you lower it. No longer have mine on anymore gone back to 15's. See my garage for pics with the 17's on

chears m8 im looking at getting adjustable coilovers and just want the whells sitting in the arches will this work?

Ride will be very harsh, but if you get the bolts chopped off all arches and bond them back on, and get the metal under the rear arches rolled/flared out you should be able to go down 60mm on coilovers like mine was, but it will still rub over bumps with people in the back if you don't take it easy and the front might rub if you take corners too fast. Hope that helps

You would be better off getting as close to et49 as you can as i believe that is the best wheel offset for corsas.
