Righto, a friend of mine is rebuilding a S1 RST. However, it needs a new drivers side rear 1/4. My friend has tried a few places, but has had no luck. Any idea where he can get one, or if you know anybody who has one? AFAIK, its the same as the S2 one

Try Ford they have have some really random parts knocking around at various dealers.

When I was enquiring about how much it would set me back to restore an S1 a mate of mine told me he sourced a rear pannel, front pannel and both front inner and outer wings from a Ford dealer near Blackpool.

Failing that keep an eye out on Passionford parts and you may have to use patended items in some cases for stuff like sils etc

He's tried SEL Imperial, Haydrian and a Ford dealer, who just laughed. They've also tried Passionford, but no luck

Its not rotten, its non existant

I don't know the full details, but apparently the 1/4 was taken for another Escort a few months ago

Well it could of been worse I could of said break an RS1600i....and you know what I would for an S1

fad/rob have coverd the placea i would try, only thing i would add is speak to the rsoc, the buy panles, at the last nationday they had escoss rear 1/4 for sale

so they maybe able to help

and breaking a 1600i
