Why is it you can only use your ncb on a single policy (i.e. if you get a 2nd car you have to start that one from scratch) seem's silly

If you had a claim and they investigated it you would be done for fraud

Insurance is a scam because you have to have it. Insurance companies seem to be able to do whatever the hell they want It's like with the AA, how can my insurance price go up £400 even though I am a year older and my car is the same and I have got anothers years no claims. Wierd.

I naively said the the same thing thing when I enquired...something along the lines of 'I cant be driving both cars at the same time so why the massive hike'
Unfortunately your car/second car is more at risk when its parked up.
Fact of life I guess

It's fraud because Insurance is done on up most good faith and that unless they have agreed for you to use the bonus on that vehicle aswell the other vehicle like on some policies that are out there. you have not earnt bnus on that car hence your lying hence it's fraud also if you put down on the proposal form that you own another car sometimes they ask for the other reg no. and then they will see that reg is the same. Then again they may not and you'll get away with it.
