had a day off today so i went for a drive, went past an import place and they had the dc5 sitting there, so i went in and spoke to em about it. ended up going for a test and what an amazing car!!! I've driven a DC2 but it was my mates so i took it easy, but i went out with the mechanic as the salesman was on his own, so i gave it a bit of stick!!!! All i can say is WOW!!!! Not great in a straight line, (i think mine is quicker) but round corners, braking it's awesome, and a true drivers car.

I will get one when i can afford to insure it!!!

I know. But i couldn't rag my mates car could i!!! He was telling me to but i couldn't. His is a DC2 JDM 96 spec, so no ABS which made me even more nervous!!!!! I've just been in my mates DC5, he's just stripped the rear, put in harnesses, racing mani, de cat, induction kit, i'm in love but can't get insured on one

i highly reccomend it, and i've always said i'd never go jap, it might not be the quickest thing in a straight line, it definately aint slow but i don't think much would touch the teg's round corners. I really want to drive my mates dc5 as it's also on hks coil overs, it's unreal the speeds he does round bends. He had a Subaru Impreza with the pro drive kit and said the teg is sooo much more fun.

Hopefully next year i'll be looking to replace my car with something about £15k so might blag a test drive then.

Along with - E46 M3, Focus RS, S2k, Boxter & anything else that sounds like a good idea at the time :yhumbs:

Seriously mate i've driven my boss's m3, and the teg is so much more fun, i can't stress enough how good these cars are. Focus RS's are good, never driven one but would like to, S2000's are aparently awesome (my mate with the DC5 works for honda and loves driving S2000's), And don't even think of a boxster.

I know, i love my turbo's tbh but gunning around at 8, 9 9.5k revs is awesome, unlike anything i've ever experienced!!!! Was going to swap mine with a ukdm dc2 with 240bhp, and was MINT but i couldn't get insured I fucking hate insurance, they'll let me have a 300bhp corsa but not a 240bhp track tool!!!

E46 M3 Not only do you get handling, speed but refinement too - although high running costs etc. However I am COMPLETELY biased.

Absolutely awesome cars! Have driven both the DC2 and DC5 and have to say I prefer the DC5.

I dont think the car is about straight line speed - I think Honda have got the balance of power and handling spot on! If I was in the market for a FWD performance car then it would be top of my list!!!!

PS - Championship white with dark rims!!!!
