hi all, my car has been lowered -40mm on the rear for some time now, on standard shockers, i was told they were on the way out, so went and got some budget ones, gmax as that is what i could afford, so today fitted them, and now when i drive there is like a scrubbing sound from the rear, but the car isn't any lower, just stiffer.
Do you think it is possible that the top of the struts arnt tight enough and could be moving?
or any other ideas on what it could be, or what i have mite dun wrong.
Thanks

this may be your problem, too tight and they rattle. someone said on here that they only need to be nipped up otherwise the rubbers compress too much.
i may be wrong
