Well as above, i havent really noticed a difference? Anybody else had a experience like this? I know they like standard airboxes would this be the same with the act or would my manifold need upgrading? I was going to take the battery out 4 an hour tomorrow? Any help.
Cheers.

if i was to reset the ecu would that help? Read before gives 5 to 10 bhp which is rubbish. I possibly is a little quicker and noiser but not really noticeable. I think it may have more top end grunt now????

a decat on its own will not give you any noticeable gains.

it's only worth doing with other mods, like an inlet manifold, exhaust manifold and full system.

rremoving the centre box will make no difference either.

and resetting the ecu you mean unplugging it and leaving it for an hour or so, right? that's pointless too.

I had a de-cat fitted to my Mantzel'd 1.6.

There wasn't much difference, apart from a slightly quicker pick up from low revs.

the noise is the biggest differance mate, and like robin said, its only worth doing if you have inlet/exhaust manifold
