how come there is only 6 episodes in series 3 of Lost?

Because it is retired now until Feb as that is when the peak season is in the US

Also, judging by the small gaps in between the finishing of the series they probably do filming as well

Probably 5 series. If it goes on for 6 or 7 I will stop watching it, ridiculous.

Series 3 has 24 episodes like the rest - there is a pause now till feb when the remaining episodes will be show without any breaks.

Series 4 & 5 have been confirmed.

Think the break is due to various things like Xmas coming up / think it might be the start of the play-off season etc etc

im gettin really fed up of it now, if i dont get answers by the end of series 3 im gonna give up! its not cliffhangers its bloody riddles and confusion

Play-offs ain't for a while yet. They've got another 5/6 games till the end of regular season.

Like someone else said, Feb is the peak time in America, so they save their "bankers" till then

any more than the end of series 3 and i shall stop watching it. getting bloody stupid all these riddles, visions etc
