You always see older people on TV drinking straight spirits

Yet no young people tend to do it


I have a bottle vodka in the fridge, but I daren't try it

Is it something you grow into? Like pissing for longer?

I always drink my vodka neat. Or with a slice of lemon and fresh ground coffee.

I was at someones house last week and one of the aunties was drinking Baileys straight like it was milk

Baileys or Carolans, I always drink loads of that then realise I'm really rather drunk.

When its cold its easier to drink, which is why I moved it to the freezer

Only spirit I drink is Jack Daniels and have to have coke and ice..

Can't drink spirits neat..

I have some full on nasty Russian stuff from a place that is called "Azza bajan" (sounds like that, probably not spelt like that)

It says 80% proof, but 40%

when im out on the town i occasionaly get a pint glass full of ice and as much baileys to fill it, but thats near enough the only spirit i can drink straight like that.
can have shots of anythin but absinthe without trouble

Errrm...

Baileys is a liqeur, not a spirit! And it's only 17%, so it's like water compared to most proper spirits!

Get a decent strong spirit, and you're looking at 40% up to anything in the region of 80% alcohol (160 proof).

I quite like Stolichnaya, one of the few vodkas I can drink neat these days......currently working my way through a 70cl bottle!

There is this bloke that comes into the pub we go to at lunchtime at work, he must be about 90 years old, he gets a pint of beer and a shot of whiskey, same everyday.

Hes a lovely old man.

i'm the same, can't handle it, can't even drink 20% tackle such as ameretoo straight. Unless its a shot, can dispatch them ok.

Easy mistake to make to mix up a bottle of blue Norweigen Vodka with WKD when already half pissed always check the label kids if it says 45% its deffo not WKD.
