Quality player, my fave midfielder.....seen him pull something out the hat on so many occassions for both milan and italy. inter fans must me sick

had to be for me, the main player italy wouldnt be able to cope with out (along with canavarro and buffon) in the WC. His pass to grosso put us in the final, his goal v ghana got us started. not many players can single handedly dictate the pace of the game, he can.

Show your love xXx.

So glad we swapped him for Guly (I believe it was) - master stroke, almost as good as when we swapped Cannavaro to Juve with their frigging sub keeper who never got a game for Inter!
Inter are fuckwits sometimes

over rated? dont get me mad. he's got to be the best under rated player there is. only after the WC he is getting the recognition he deserves.

Gilberto Silva offers one thing a lot of people don't, he can ruin an opponents match by winding them up, he's one of them players where you can't ignore his taunts, because he makes them intrigueing, most other players just say stuff like "your crap" etc..

Let's say your marking a player, he says to you something like "I've fucked your mum" or "Your sister is a whore", you just ignore it because it's old hat, everyone says it to me, I just chuckle and think to myself "If they can't think of anything new then they shouldn't bother at all"

But GS has said things in the past to Premiership opponents and because they have to think about what he's said, it can make a big difference, he taunted Zlatan Ibrahimovic last year and he did it alot for Atletico Paranese (for where he got his reputation)
He said numerous things like "Imagine your tib and fib poking through your skin after my next tackle" or he would say to fellow team-mates "Get two forwards in the same place so they're easier to mark" which would have reverse psychological affects because the forward would then run away from the area of play to try and mess his tactics up but really what he's doing is sending the threat to an area where he can't do anything. He's a very brainy player.

That has got me thinking. That is pretty clever, mind games, I like it.

I particularly like the 2 forwards scenario. Im running that one through my mind

It works everytime, if you can read a game and see the threat coming before it actually happens, then it's a great trick.

as interesting as it is, this thread is about pirlo.

however, if other users see this (arsenal fans) they will think GS is uber cool, clever, brainy......perhaps this is the case. However, they'd be the 1st to say matarazzi is in the wrong for winding up ZZ. annoying.

never mind.

Pirlo isn't over rated, he never gets mentioned in the same breath as the top player's which he should.

He's a far better footballer than Totti who incidentally is over rated imo, although Pele said before the world cup that he is the best player in the world and who am i to argue with him

Sorry but you are talkling gash, total GASH!

So if those players are over-rated then please enlighten us as to who isn't?
It doesn't have to be from Serie A (as you obviously have no knowledge of it!)
