They are very very nice cars. Recaro interior is really comfy. My big brother (Gez G) has one. If you buy one Irmy grill is a must have. Also they can be tuned to 250bhp fairly easily. Some pics of my bro's car below.

they're nice to drive but feel a little down on power for what they are if you get it then save a little money for a couple of mods, few hundred does wonders!!!

This is a little different to a holiday...you cant exactly pop over the check the resort out before you book...

You CAN however test drive a car before buy...

I would NEVER buy a car without test driving it and on the basis of peoples opinions...

IMHO

i am not goin to buy it on other ppl's opinions i just want to know what ppl's thoughts are of the car..

i will test drive any car i buy but there is no harm asking peoples opinions, what if i get 5 people say there engine has blew and 1 sayingthey ent had a problem it does make you think.

i have yet to find fault with mine!

i can see why some people would say that it doesnt feel that quick, but then the car is built to be quick but also a comfy car!

i think the balnce is just right, the power is there if you need it and they really do go, ive only been beaten by a super charged type r running 260bhp so far and it wasnt that clear cut, nothing else has had me!

the brakes are fantastic, im talking with standard power though, they are perfectly balanced and more than up to the job!

handling wise they can be abit bouncy in standard form but with it the grip superb, get a set of eibachs on it and you will keep up with near enough most things on the road!

9k will get you a much newer one than an 02 reg! should get you a 04 plate minter!

my brother has one, driven it a bit but really like it. He is thinking of selling it to get a vx220 but doesnt really want to get rid of it. Compared to my vxr astra its not that much slower, only once your up to 80-90mph the vxr starts to gain on it

they're lovely to drive, ive driven a few before, working in the vauxhall garage, i thought they felt a little lacking but i had my corsa turbo at the time and i realised that the astra was just more refined, and a little bit slower,

i would defo have 1 though,

wouldnt need to ask me twice

Less than £9k - mine was an 04 too with some choice mods. Very good cars, although I was personally dissapointed with std power
