How quick are these as some tool tried to undertake me the other day and he couldn't seem to respond

Always thought these would be very nippy as there is fuck all to them with a 172 BHP engine

Surely mid-range the TT would be quite a bit quicker?

Correct dependant on manufacturing tolerances and toolmaking some make over 172 and some make under

mine when rr against 60 other clios made 176bhp thats totally standard and there was others as low as 160 bhp

I would say the right driver in a clio would keep with the tt to around 80 mph

a remapped TT should wipe the floor of a clio, the tt runs a ko4 turbo and remaps to 265bhp, it will leave a clio standing.

I had a 172, good cars and well worth the money. Pretty damn quick as well.
If things go wrong with it though expect to spend lots of £'s from Renault though

TT is not remapped at present and the reason I asked was because my car would be alot heavier than a clio

It was just an interesting experience but again probably down to the driver etc
