i wont bore you with the details but a uni project justified a visit to Silverstone to look at the skid pan sled.

while there had a good view of the garage enjoy the photos of the Ferrari!

well part of the project is lifting as well as transport so apologies for concentration on the lift rather than car...


here we see the near side..




and then BANG! whoops!






the mechanic we met told us they normally have 6 Ferraris, last week they had two!

I've been in that workshop on my old college course. When we were in there, one of the Ferraris was having an engine rebuild, so it was all in bits. Not quite as dramatic looking as that though

Teh fuck did you just say?!

I'm loving the rear subframe with the engine, box, suspension etc sitting there, makes it seem like it wasn't that bad of a crash (relatively speaking!) - mainly cosmetic with a minimum of structial damage
