£13.85 in 1's, 2's, 5's & 10's Didnt think id have that much.

Im too ashamed to spend it in a shop so whats the best way to get rid of a bag full of change??

sainsburys/some tescos have a machine where you pour coins in, and it gives you notes.

asda's have coin machines you put it, it counts it sorts it and spits notes out at you and takes about 7p or something in every pound

my local HSBC has a machine like asda that lets you chuck it all in and have it counted without charging you 10%

I'd be there for hours putting change into one of those machines! I have a pint glass full of 5's, 2 pint glasses full of 10's and a 5 litre glass jar full of 1's and 2's!
I've no idea what all that adds up to tho.

You just chuck it all in and the machine counts/sorts it for you

I once used one of them machines, ended up with about £300. Theres was loads of pound coins and allsorts though, I hate having change so it all just collects up.
