i think the one evreyone referd to was one built in 91 or 92 which was sliver, had an xe in it and lotus badges

lotus did in fact build 1 many years ago one of the test drivers brought it home from every now and again and they also rebuilt xe's and sent them out to germany on a crate my mate who worked for the company that sent them just could never lose 1 for me though

the engine loosk great in there.

its all just a myth though, there isnt any proof of them other than someone saying their dads mates cousin worked on them etc. no pictures, or anything. in 15 years time people will say the corsa b was built with v6's from the factory by vauxhall to test them etc with no proof other than someones aunty once putting a tax disc in one or something

very true

and when you look the carlton was built, which was 89-91 iirc, they were prob very close to finsihing the corsa

if they were goign to do a lotus something, ti surely would have been for a newer model than one with a years lifespan left

if you actually think about it, the corsa is basically 90% a nova floor pan and parts so it was probably finished being designed in 1983

I think I remember this Nova in Max Power when I was a kid.
I just threw that copy out a few months ago too, along with a huge pile of other mag's from the loft.

the only one i can think off if this one from maxpower many years ago but its just a normal nova badged as a lotus

but it has a rather nice engine!!
