Think i'm off upto Blackpool at the weekend for my mates birthday and i'm driving up there, so just wondered what the area itself is like, and if my car will be safe ??!! I've gotta take the sub out anyway, cos of fitting bags in, but i'm more concerened about the alloys... would turning my wheels locking the steering thwart any attempts to steal them perhaps...

I'm maybe a little paranoid, but want to keep hold of it, if i can !!!

to be honest, i'm sure it'll be fine, but theres always a niggling feeling that sumthin might happen to it....

....i've heard syindicate is good.... is blackpool itself expensive for a night out or roughly the same as your average local town ??

Big car park runs the whole length of the South Shore behind Lytham Road, near the football stadium

Theres lots at the end of Yeadon Way, just a walk to get to anywhere. Jade is right though, there is lots of parking round Bloomfield Road.

LOL We usually go down once a year to take Gran to see the illuminations. Mum always parks up there, but it can be quite expensive. She usually moves the car onto the Prom overnight when its free parking, then back up to the car park in the morning

Fucking hate blackpool. Tacky and wank. Found a few good pubs, think one was called the sanctuary, apart from that hate it. Scumfest of a resort. I don't like rollercoasters which is probably best part of Blackpool since nowt else is upto much. imo.

I agree, the streets are filthy, most of the accomodation is sh*t and most of the shops are tacky and filled with the same rubbish, but................................................ my gran who's 84 loves the arcades and the lights, so we try to take her once a year for a weekend
