my dad works for a car rental place as a second job as he works shifts and he prefers the 2.2 to the turbo, says the turbo just spins up but the 2.2 is just so much more grunty????? Wot he means by this i don't know. personally i would get the turbo.

Mines a 1.8 mate, i was in the process of buying a house when I got it so needed the cheapest insurance option, as I was stepping down from a Clio Cup. I did test a couple of 2.2's though and upto 60-70 there's not alot between them. I'm sure the 2.2 would be better after that though. I'm 25 with 6 years ncb, pay £350 f/c for me and missus.

Think it'd be tight mate, they are pretty wide. They are heated also which is bloody lovely on these cold mornings.
