As above. I know this has been asked 20 billion times already but.

Reason is i have just bought a astra convertible which is a group 11 and i am getting figures around 2k due to me been 20

ermmm, 1.0 GLS, 1 or 2 I believe.
£1000 (1 year 9 month license, 0 no claims as haven't had a car)
Zurich - was through a high street insurance broker that dad goes to with the work vans and they did me a deal.

Surely you checked on insurance before buying the car? It does'nt matter how much other people pay, just ring around and get quotes for you, everyone else will be different.

The reason why it's so high is probably due to the fact it's a convertible. easy too nick.

i mite start a thread on this!!!! I jus got a pay rise, i now have a years no claims plus i have a co. car so it doesn't need comutting or business use, and it will only be insured for 6000 miles a year as it will only be a toy.

Putting a parent as a 2nd driver helps.

The corsa is cheaper than the cupra.
