thought i'd start a wee progress thread.

starting looking at these in august, through a company called crawford cars http://www.fastjapcars.com

very helpful and emailed me loads of cars to choose from, decided on this 1997 model in championship white.

started the import process and the car is due to arrive tuesday, picking it up on the 9th december so i'll hopefully have pics next week of it up close!

once i decided on the car...i reckoned the grey buddy club wheels were a bit rank....so i decided to get new ones for when it arrived, fell in love with some buddy club racing wheels, and managed to get a set in 16" in white with toyo tyres for a good price from a company at trax! but i really wanted original wheels too so £350 later i had an original set of ek9 wheels sent to the importer ready for fitting to the car when it arrived! best bit is the importer wants the grey wheels, so swapping them for a spoon sports manifold he has

what the car will look like when i pick it up (standard ek9, not my car lol)

also got a spoon sports panel filter for it and a replacement drivers seat bolster foam as they tend to sag!

updates later in the week as i get pics

What mods you doing to it?

Bear in mind that when selling on any mods to an EK9 will really make it harder to sell and wont add much value at all. Us honda owners like out stuff OEM

Bit of a change to your previous Euro beast! Will keep an eye on the progress of this though. Doesn't it suck having to wait for so long though?
Presume you must have another "boring" car kicking about to get around in atm?!

cos it has to be sva'd/mot'd, registered with the dvla and taxed.

plus my flights are booked for then lol, will take a while for the v5 to come through and i didnt want to book flights earlier in case the boat was late into the uk or the v5 late.
