Well i know this is kind of related to my rebuild thread but i just thought id show everyone my new suspension....

comparing it to the avo coilovers and the quality is amazing, bilstein is often over looked unless you own an old escort lol!

any way, thats enough of a blatent plug for bilstein.......

and this should show the diffeence between between the cheaper kits and the more expencive ones.

always liked the bilstein stuff, but never been able to afford them. to be honest iv got all my engine bits thru someone who i knew outside of work, apart from my pistons and now my rods lol, being in the trade is great, however it means you car will never get done because you are always tired from working on other peoples cars etc! lol

brake wise, i cant afford to spent more money on other bits i dont need, i need to concerntrate on the engine. i want to get it up and running, then i may go for bigger brakes etc, but all in good time, i o marriott for the wheels and morrettes still lol! they will be paid for this weekend, then im broke!

on the brake subject, 1.4 sports do have a much better pedal feel than all other corsas I have driven. robin has mentioned this a few times... maybe there is something to it?

you look at the price difference and then if you could put them side by side you would see the difference! dont get me wrong for a cheap kit then fk is the way to go, for a decent kit then go for bilstein stuff

Why would Koni sell their kit with FK components? They have a reputation to keep up.

rang vaux today. all corsas from 1993-2000 came with the same master cylinder and servo units.

the only difference was the gsi master cylinder which had a different part number (due to all having ABS as standard)

hmmm, how odd.

must be something else then? different servo on the 1.4 or something

my pedal was ALWAYS solid, as was Mark's, but the other cars I drove had spongey ones, so there must be something.

wierd.
