Not sure about the lights, but then again, they don't look terrible, so if they're lighter...

Already planned a tinted perspex cover to go over them, to help with aero and look . The lights could then be removed and the covers left in place for trackdays and 1/4 mile days etc.

Now that the race car has gone to the nurburgring, I was able to get my car out and have a play today. My goodness I've missed it, the noise the bumps the bangs, its brilliant!

Gratuitous revving (only used about 6500rpm )

I bought approx twenty ponies from Broster today, 288deg Newman cams. This should bring me down below 13.5 on the quarter and deep into the 4's 0-60

And some weight saving, of course. The drilled handles seemed a bit weighty, so i filed them out lmao .

How it stands now

Fantastic mate!!! When are you going to get it remapped??? And actually use those Verniers this time

It feels like I haven't seen this car running for ages! Last time I saw it was when we weighed it at Holly's and even them it turned up on the back of a dolly and we pushed it onto the ramps

Sorry still detesting those lights though

Well I hope to get it on the road within the next two weeks, plan to drive it to Brands and use my newly acquired astra TDS as support car
I'll run it on the current cams for Brands then pull it apart after that, fit the new cams and get it remapped properly this time
