downloaded a couple films tongiht, one is just coming up green but im getting sound, the other is the same but grey.

is there anyway i can download shit loads of codecs and install them all at once instead of havin to search and try all diferent ones

get the files extensions and look for the respective freeware codes here:

no need to AIO packs. useless.

There is NO reason to install any codec packs anymore.

I've just googled afterdawn and it just looks like a site with loads of codec packs on So how does that stop you having to install any codec packs? I don't get it it but thats probably me being dumb

My instructions were google ffdshow and use the afterdawn link.

Just get the K-lite Codec Pack (Basic) and install that. You should be fine.

Why install k-lite when you can install ffdshow totally legally and not have any dodgy conflicting codecs though

makes me laugh, ffdshow is like 8mb, does everything perfectly.
