Auctions like that are deleted by ebay

after the xbox 360 fiasco, if you cannot supply the winner of the auction with the actual product, and not just a reciept for a pre-order, within 30 days, such auctions are deleted and in some cases the seller account suspended

there is no point - same old story all old disks and new games etc wont work on them as they are different region so every newgame would have to be ordered from over there - also there is a problem with the power supply - and you would simply blow up a ps3 which was amde for us or japan - if you plugged it over here - so you would need to spend more money to get a transformer to correct the power supply to the unit.

so big con - waste of money and i personal suggest just wait till march when these issues wont be a problem and the price wont be nearly as high

PS3 is actually Region Free, so you can play any games on them.

But yeah, i would wait until they are released in the UK

as for plug/power thats not a problem as a simple £5 converter will work, it wont blow up as the PS3 will only draw the power it needs

They are talking about voltage blowing the ps3 up although most electronics come with a worldwide transformer these days.

Good luck finding somebody who will import one for you though.

And as Marc said, quite obviously, Geek Day.
