When spraying 2k paint, when it hits the surface why would very small little bubbles be appearing and ruining the finish? Thanks for any info.

Surface was totally smoothed, and i am pretty sure the paint wasn't contaminated. I will clean down the surface again and see if this helps things. Thanks for the help guys.

With thinners and then washed clean. Will clean again though as there's the possibility there could be traces of thinner left causing the problem.

A tin of body wipe shouldn't be too expensive from a local motor factors, this might evaporate off the surface better than thinners. Worth a try.

need to make sure the thinners is from the same paint system ie use 2k thionners not celly thinners, You can can use something called tac rags to prep the surface though I have had this happen after having used these aswell

Yea, you don't use thinners, you need to use pannel wipe.

Will give it a good clean minus the thinners this time and see how things work out.

The way to do it is use tack rags, make sur eyou soak the rag so it's dripping. Wipe the pannel over with that, go again with a clean rag, then dry with another clean dry rag. Wear gloves and don't touch the pannel during or after the process.
