there was an article in the mirror the other day about this.
wigan boss paul jewell was saying how the fans where better in the championship than the premiership and being a top 6 club in the championship was better than being in a dog fight in the premiership.

there was also 5 teams who get more average gates than wigan, blackburn and bolton.

I think you missed the point. I may support a northern pikey team, but I have never lived further north than Tunbridge Wells.
