hello, get back to me direct via my email address with your car price...pastors_anita1@yahoo.com
Sounded a bit dodgy but i emailed them anyway, and got this response:
Thanks for the information. I am sure the vehicle is
in good condition. This is all the requirements needed
at this time. The shipper will handle every other
thing necessary when he arrives your location. The
price is okay by me. I will like to pay the full
amount of 2150 pounds for the vehicle plus an extra
100 pounds for you to keep other buyers off till it is
picked up by the shipper. So please get back to me,
and also keep other buyers off. I will send you a
check of 6000 pounds Can I trust you to have it
cashed, take 2250 pounds and send the balance to the
shipper, so that the vehicle I bought for my son can
be picked up?
If yes,kindly reply with the
following payment details.
1]names and address you want on the bank check
2]phone numbers
Do Send the details to me now for the check to be
send you earlier and all the websites you paste the
vehicle for sale.

it probably is. A mate of mine sold his car on ebay, got his dad to bid to bump it up a little. When the auction ended, his dad didnt win it, which was the plan, but he got a second chance offer off some random guy claiming he was the owner of the car. Wanted a deposit like in your case

ive had this problem from a guy going by the name peter darlinton or something along those lines.
had another 1 from another bloke, unsure of his name but his email was almost identical to your. was going to send me a 9000£ cheque, told me to take £4500 from it plus £100 to keep away other buyers then to send him the rest via western union. just knew it was bollocks straight away

Sad state of affairs when some dodgy foreigner comes on to a British web site talking English and people reply because they can't distinguish his bad English from normal conversation.
That for me stands out a mile as a complete and utter blatent scam and some people have replied following up the interest.
You will lose your money.

I have to agree with Ian about being able to spot it a mile away, I don't even bother wasting my time reading emails like that.
How people can be fooled by it is beyond me.
