check your driving licence?
i test drove the new corsa last week and the bloke never checked my license or anything. And he looked abit worried wen afterwards i joked to the gf "all that i have to do now is pass my test"

im 19 and i look about 12 as it is, i get id'd alot so i thought he would of had to check my licence??

I never showed any documents when I test drove a Fabia vRS, I've never shown documents when I have hirer car at dealer either

Vauxhall didn't ask for my license either. But places like Audi do and they take a photocopy.

We don't usually check licenses at our place, unless they look mega young. Most people drive in anyway. Plus we get their keys as a bit of insurance

dont think he did, he was in the office at the time. he was askin me about my car and he didnt know what i drove, plus if i was going to drive a new corsa without a licence it wouldnt stop me driving an old corsa without one would it

Do you have to be a certain age, or have fully comp insurance ect to test drive a car?............... in theory can i go to the BM garage and take an m3 out for quarter of an hour?

Depends on the car. If it's shitty little hatch bacs that you are likely to buy then you can probably do it. If it's an Evo and you come in looking like a test pilot then you can't. With most performance cars the dealership only has insurance for over 25's...
