ive only had it a couple months now, and ive only ever played 3 diff games on it.not put any music etc on it. not have 'lie' connected etc.

but its happened a few times now where it just freezes and cant do anything except switch it off. the quadrants are still showing green etc.

anyone else had this prob?

i'd take it back and reort as faulty, get a new one

Keep the HD, and take it back for a new console.

^^ as said, tell them to just swap the HD over but give you a new Xbox

I dont have a 360 so it might not be possible but could you not just transfer the saved games to a new HDD? USB perhaps?

HD drive wont cause it to freeze as it doesnt run off the HD when playing. I'd take it back and swap it

usually just having trouble reading the discs... the drives in them are pretty crap tbh and prone to this sort of shit!
