im board and just thinking, how do you decide what you want to do with your life?
im 19 just started work in IT support, still living with the parents and just started saving for a deposit for a house..obviously going to be years before i get a deposit for a house, but
i really dunno what i wana do with myself, wether i wana stay round my area, move away, stay in IT, or do something different..
did you guys follow your ambitions and do what you set out to do with yourself?
and if not why not?

Well i am 18 and since very young age i have been in to cars -
So i am doing Automotive Engineering at Uni next year and then hopefully going in to motorsport after that!!!
So i am following my 'dreams' to a certain degree. Just think about what you are interested in or like doing and see if a casreer fits into that catagory!!!
Good luck!!!

- get a pay increase at current job
- learn a trade at college, just incrase things (job wise) fall through, i can have an in demand, practical trade to help me get work

thats another thing, dont just want to be good at one thing, i wouldnt mind learning to be a sparky for a plumber...so much to think about but its also finding the time to learn, work shifts and have a social life..

Same as me, I couldn't care less because when I get older I will be in Germany in a pine cabin, hunting deer and reading books.

Sounds great olivier.
This sounds crazy, but when i see the restoration work at duxford on all the old planes, having to hand craft parts that dont exist. Prepping fuselages replacing instruments...
Sounds like somethign i would LOVE to do forever.

I'd rather be poor and living off the land than rich and boring. I don't want to be part of civilisation, civilisation has been corrupted by goverments and its complete bullshit.
