Totally pristine silver corsa B 1.2 16v, brilliant car... written off

some stupid chinese woman that couldnt see over the steering wheel or speak english, pulled out in front of me at a roundabout. She was stationary as i came onto the roundabout, she saw me, and still continued to pull out, i slammed the brakes on and she took no evasive action whatsoever.

Best bit, she got out of her car, in the middle of the road (i had pulled over) and proceeded to blame me.... wtf?

The car is ruined, the wheel was pushed into the engine bay, shearing all the supports and actually shifted the whole block over 3 inches towards the drivers side.

Well fucked off.

Ill have pics in a few days of my car, but there wasnt much outside damage. Her side support beam or something must have hit my alloy and shunted it right into the engine bay.

This happened to me after hitting a Merc. The wheel was hanging off, shocker snapped in half, bumper gone etc.

It wasn't actually as bad as i thought. I thought the same as you, write off. Once you have calmed down a bit, go and have a good look see what you think. Lets hope the stupid bint was insured and you'll have her back good as new.

Where abouts is that mate? Looks like its near the City Centre. Sorry to hear about the car

Saw two accidents yesterday, and one this morning. Just travelling too and from work.

It was just outside the city, H6/V7 roundabout



No updates yet, but she is insured, and she petter be fucking paying, or ill be fucking pissed off. She seemed pretty adament that it was my fault... im really pissed off, and if she contests, it'll mean im without a car for like 2 months.

I left ot for like a few hours, looked at it withmy mechy to see if he can do anything, and he said its fucked. The gearbox is actually twisted... god knows how, but corsas arent the strongest of cars
