Looking to do my bike test pretty soon with the view of getting a bike for spring (if we get one next year).

Anyways my mate has finally got rid of his 'weight round the neck' alfa by getting his bro to use it as a trade in

He's got a bike aswell and to cut a long sotry short we're looking for a very cheap run around (car) to share.

Bearing in mind insurance won't really be an issue can be anything really but what should we be looking for that won't cost the earth to fix and is pretty good value for money? £500 tops - probably go auctions so maybe worth upto £800 privately?
