Sorry to post in here, jus that i wanted peoples opinions on this :

Recently my car got broke into, the handle was broke and the surrounding paint was begining to rust ...

There is a bodyshop jus down the bottom of the road, which is pritty good as i've used him b4. So jus now i've been down for a quote for :

Door
Rear Panel
Boot *As it's begining to rust around the window seal*

I sort of know him and he's got a good reputation - For all that he's gunna be charging me £200 - £230

The thing is, It's booked in for Friday the 27th October. Ready "If everything goes well" Saturday morning <~ Can that be rite ???

Thanks - Soz for essay

if they are new panels and he paints them up before you get the car there then it'll only be fitting needed.

I am getting my car sprayed £150
for door, wing, bumpers & arches oh and wing mirrors but I know the person doing it and I have to buy the paint.

I'd say urs is a ok price considering you only sort of know the lad.

is easily done in a day and will be fitted up by the friday night most probably, he may not have anything in that day and just spend alot of time on your car but if its new panels then he will most probs have them ready to go to paint by friday morning so sort the car out in about an hour or 2 then spray before lunch!

I work for a crash repair company, and we have too do this all the time, so yes it can be done easy peasy. - even easier if theres more than one person on the job.

Thats about the right time, me and a mate at work last saturday.

Went into work on saturday at 7am, started work on my car, repaired a dent in the front wing, prepped both full sides of the car, masked out, painted, laquered and baked, and also prime and rub down front and rear bumpers and full set of arch spats, finished at half 1ish, and had a break for some brekkie!
